I’m not anti–Black Friday. Lots of businesses rely on it, and plenty of people genuinely enjoy the excitement of finding a good deal.

But as a small NZ brand, I wanted to offer something that feels a little more like us - local, relaxed, summery and of course kiwi like!

So this year, I’m trying something different:

Bright Friday - a laid-back, kiwi spin on black friday.

No pressure, no push - just a nice idea - if people are shopping anyway, let's use that moment to give back.

This year I’ve chosen the giftsforkids.co.nz Christmas Appeal to receive 10% of all online sales from now until November 31st.

It’s a Kiwi initiative helping make Christmas possible for families who might otherwise miss out.  Gifts for Kids offers practical support and a little extra brightness where it’s needed most.

Bright Friday isn’t about replacing Black Friday - just a small, Kiwi-style way to do things a bit differently.
